SMASH Cooking Club

SMASH Cooking Club meets once a month and is led by Chef Dustin Harder, founder and culinary director of Smash Food Lab. An award-winning cookbook author, Dustin believes food should be about balance — meals that are crave worthy but are also nourishing, satisfying, and plant-based. Every dish in the club is nutrient-dense, full of flavor, and designed to show that eating well can be both fun and fulfilling.

The concept is simple and community-driven: we cook for each other. Each student is paired with a partner, and together you’ll prepare one to two recipes during the two-hour class. By the end, everyone contributes to a shared table of dishes, and each participant takes home a portion of every recipe. That means you leave class with four complete meals packed in containers, ready to heat and enjoy later in the week. It’s like meal prep, but without the stress of doing it all alone.

Beyond cooking, this club is about connection. It’s a place to meet new friends, work side by side in the kitchen, and discover the joy of preparing food together. Whether you’re new to plant-based cooking or looking to expand your skills, you’ll find the recipes approachable, the atmosphere supportive, and the energy uplifting. Chef Dustin guides each step, offering tips, techniques, and plenty of encouragement along the way.

Best of all, the SMASH Cooking Club is offered at an affordable price, making it accessible while still providing premium, chef-crafted meals that leave you nourished, inspired, and excited for the week ahead. This month’s menu features:

  • Macaroni and Cheese with Lemony Broccoli

  • Teriyaki Tofu and Veggies with Brown Rice

  • Rainbow Crunch Bowl with Five-Spiced Tofu and Miso Soup

  • Kale Caesar with Shiitake Bacon and Chickpea Pot Pie Soup

Join us for an evening of cooking, laughter, and community. You’ll sharpen your kitchen skills, enjoy a creative and social night out, and head home with delicious meals ready to enjoy throughout the week. The SMASH Cooking Club is more than just a class — it’s a chance to nourish your body, expand your recipe collection, and build connections one plate at a time.

Students will get to take home copies of each recipe as well.
